2019 - The City of Galena was awarded this prestigious award in the category of Rehabilitation. The Turner Hall restoration project was begun in 2013 and completed in 2018. The Galena Foundation partnered with the City of Galena, Adam Johnson Architects, and Historian Daryl Watson to create and execute the rehabilitation plans.

Galena Historic Preservation Award

Each year Galena's Historic Preservation Commission recognizes one outstanding example of historic preservation. The Galena Foundation's accurate restoration of the Old Train Depot won the award in 2013.
