The Galena Foundation continues to look for ways to preserve the endangered properties in Galena with historical significance. On July 29, 2021, we took another small step forward by accepting the donation of the house and property at 901 Fourth Street.

The Galena Foundation has begun cleanup on the property, acquired a structural engineering report, and are actively looking for a buyer of this unique and historic Galena cottage.
